Coach's Corner Lesson #6

This past month the" Fusion Tennis Projec"t has been humbled by " Nature Project" that has prohibited the scheduled session of experimentation with the null hypothesis group of Grace Haig and friends. So we’ll keep trying to get some sessions convened at Cuesta Park and report back next month.

However, I left off last month stating that I would offer a guiding principle for Fusion Tennis so here goes. The operating principle of Fusion Tennis is that the strength of your intention is proportional to the clarity of your attention.
So you might say what do you mean by attention and intention? I would say good question because both terms have specific meaning for Fusion Tennis.
Attention is the capacity within the mind to focus mental energy upon an object and to form a clear image of that object within the reflective mind. Intention is the capacity within the mind to convert mental energy into physical action for the purpose of achieving a goal formed in the reflective mind. Now that is a mouthful or should I say a mindful. But the deal is, really, it is something that you already know and do anyway when you think of it. The difference is I’m asking you to be more conscious of it so that you shed a little more light on it, and in the process empower what you are doing with a little more energy in order to generate a greater energy output, hence true fusion.
More next month on attention and drills.

Thanks
