LATC Men's Doubles Ladder

We had some big news on the ladders. Our idol, Lynn Hunton, age 89!!, is now on top of the Men's Doubles Ladder. Lynn and Ted Barney defeated Ken and Tom Gregory in the second biggest match of the Wimbledon Men's Finals Day. Ken and Tom lost the first set 4-6, won the second 6-2 and lost in the super tiebreaker 12-10. Lynn was awesome, as Ken and Tom knew better than to hit often to Ted, but Lynn held his ground at the net and put away shot after shot. The final point was initiated with a drop shot by Lynn that brought both Tom and Ken to the net, Ken hit another drop shot just out of Lynn's reach, only to have "wheels" Barney lift a perfect lob over both Tom and Ken into the the corner (4" x 4"!).
A great match and terrific play by all. Congratulations Lynn! and "Wheels".
