An outstanding playday was staged by Judi Gentry! It was a fun time for all and laid the foundation for a mixed doubles ladder that should provide lots of fun playing opportunities for our club members. Weather cooperated nicely with a beautiful spring day and Judi prepared a delicious lunch of Togo’s sandwiches and home made accessories. Good job Judi!

We are planning a men’s doubles playday with a similar goal – to lay the foundation for a men’s doubles ladder. Jack Bates and Bob Pearl are working on this!

Susan Wuthrich is working on a ladies interclub playday probably in June for the ladies. Stand by for more info!

I stopped by the Covington/Rosita site. A contractor named “Top Grade” had been awarded the job and they are busily moving dirt around the site.
The supervisor estimated that they would be putting in the courts by early June and he said that we could probably schedule our first tournament there on the 4th of July!

The heavy rains seem to have mostly gone away and the weather is beautiful now – get out and play tennis and enjoy!
