Good news! The unseasonable rain and cold seems to have gone away! The sun is shining and the sky is blue! Time to get onto the court and get some good exercise chasing a tennis ball!

Went by the Covington/Rosita Park yesterday and the project seems to be moving well! The Restrooms/Snack bar building appears to be complete - the 3 courts are in process of having the surface put down and the parking lot looks about ready to be surfaced - so we should have 3 nice new courts to use soon!

Talked to Bill Wong the other day. Many of you may know Bill - he is a good local tennis player who in retirement has accepted the job of coaching the Los Altos High School Boys Tennis Team. Bill is developing a vision of an improved and updated tennis court area with more amenities like bleachers, seating, maybe restrooms etc. - He would like the support of the Club, so we will be looking for ways to assist in moving his vision forward!

Debbie Ryan forwarded an invitation to join in the Mountain View Tennis Clubs next tournament. Sounds like a fun event!
