Happy Summer to all,

By the time this issue of the newsletter is published, the Smash Cancer TEAM Tournament will have been held. Presently there are over 30 entries (with more coming in) which should make for a terrific team tournament.
Thank you all for participating in this fun event and for your support of the American Cancer Society.

In support of the Relay For Life, Team Smash Cancer also provided waitresses on June 5 at FiestaVallarta restaurant.
The six LATC waitresses earned over $1500.00 in tips,

and the benefit drawing garnered almost $500.00, with more to come. Thanks so much to Doris Lehr for setting up this event with the very enthsuastic owners of Fiesta Vallarta, and to our waitresses Lynne Sweet, Jo Darius, Mary Ann Weingartner, Karen Cano, Marilyn Shodiss and Jere Schaefer, and to Beth Watt who sold benefit drawing tickets.

We encourage you to patronize Fiesta Vallarta. They wish to support us next year, and the food is terrific.
