Greetings all LATC members,

LATC is continuing to offer its members more and exciting events in which to participate - a continuing objective of the Board.

After the very successful General Meeting and Dinner in April, the ladies' Interclubs held a Play Day - a fun round-robin morning of tennis and pot luck lunch. From all reports, the Play Day was a huge success - women playing other members (and prospective members) of the Club. With over 40 entries the courts were very active.
Another Play Day will be held in the fall just before Interclubs get underway again.

Another upcoming event is the Smash Cancer TEAM Tournament to be held Saturday, June 16. All proceeds will benefit the very worthwhile Relay for Life Event ( to be held June 23) and the American Cancer Society. We want this tournament , open to members as well as non-members of the Club, to be a HUGE event by inviting all to play - with or without a partner.
The Team format of this tournament should produce a great turnout for terrific, fun tennis benefitting a very worthwhile cause.

In LATC's efforts to raise even more money for the American Cancer Society, please join our Smash Cancer team in a fun evening charity dinner to benefit Relay for Life on Tuesday, June 5, at Fiesta Vallarta Restaurant.
