Dear Members,

More than anything LATC needs your enthusiastic participation in its activities be they social and/or tennis events and support of these activities by your work to make them successful. The present Board has vacancies for Public Affairs/Publicity, Historian, Ladies Doubles Ladder, Social Events and Special Events but even more importantly needs you for the future. Most of our Board members have been on the board for several years and more, and it is time for others to step up with ideas, initiative and participation. No position is too large - really! Please come to a board meeting to see where you would like to fit in. (Meetings held the 1st Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm, in the meeting room at the rear of the Heritage Bank, 369 S. San Antonio Road)

Many have responded to the invitation to the Annual Meeting and Dinner on TUESDAY, MARCH 25, and another email will be sent out soon reminding those who have not yet signed up to do so, but you can always email me at beth@watt.us.com and let me know you want to attend. Last year’s Meeting/Dinner was terrific and a good time was had by all, so make sure to join us again.

All our tournaments this year will be announced to LATC membership about three weeks before announcements are sent to neighboring clubs for entry. Our tournaments have limited places, so make sure you respond in the future by entering quickly after announcement.

Look for details in this newsletter about announcement of our 2nd Ladies Interclub Play Day, THURSDAY, MAY 29. All ladies in LATC are invited to play whether in an Interclub at present or not. Last year’s Play Day was a huge success so we look forward to another great event.

Hope to see you all soon at many of our upcoming events - Tournaments, Interclubs, Ladders, TFC, Annual Dinner, Play Day - and most especially at our Board meetings.
