Hardcopy / Electronic Distribution of Newsletter

Since February, LATC newsletters have been mailed as usual AND emailed to you as a PDF.

Now, the LATC Board wants to know if you would like to go paperless and receive the newsletter only by email.

Please let Beth Watt know that you wish to receive all newsletters electronically and your name will be taken off the (labels) mailing list.

Those who wish a hardcopy do not need to respond and will continue to receive a newsletter in the mail
(and electronically).

PROS AND CONS

Hardcopy Newsletter

Pro:

• Handy for reference
• Visible means of communication with membership
• No need to print anything out.
  
  

Con:

• Copying and mailing costs approximately $1,600.00 annually (or $12/year/member)

Electronic distribution of Newsletter

Pro:

• No cost
• PDF can be opened, read and/or printed out for handy reference
• Photos in color
• Most local tennis clubs send electronic newsletters
  
  

Con:

• Some people won’t read the online newsletter
