The proposed pool has been incorporated in the community center plan. Now the action moves to the Parks and Recreation commission, which will be considering a new plan for Rosita park sometime in the next few months.

Groups that were not included in the community center plan, such as skateboard facility advocates, may be looking for a home at Rosita.

We must continue to press our case for at least two, if not four, courts at Rosita as being the best use of the space for the widest range of residents.

I will keep you posted on dates where we will need to turn out and plead our case before the commission.
