Tennis for charity (TFC)
MIXED PAIRS PROGRAM

The Love Game
The "TFC" Program is in full bloom with many matches completed in between the first two months of the Program!
Responses from the competitors reporting the scores have confirmed that the enjoyment from the matches wasn't based on winning the match, but rather on the singular human enjoyment of meeting someone new and congenial. A special THANK YOU is extended to those of you confirming what I have known for a long time!
"Winning certainly isn't the major contributor to enjoyment of a tennis match!”
So...fortunately Tennis matches can have all winners! Those who win by definition simply because their scores were better and those who win because of the enjoyment received in the participation!
The report of the leading match winner is reserved this month for Team # 16.
Marlene Schmid and Larry Jones, who are undefeated in the two matches played since the TFC competition began in February. Congratulations to this Team and best wishes to them in the matches ahead.
All TFC'ers are urged to schedule their matches with their opponents listed on the Match Pairing schedule, with sufficient lead time to enable the dates to be met. Additionally, everyone should be aware that matches may be arranged out of the monthly schedule dates.
Playing a match in April that is noted on the "Match Pairing" Schedule for June etc. is always acceptable.
TFC Players like SUNSHINE, and I have put in an order that has resulted in better than usual weather this time of year. The order has been still stands with expectations of more of the same for the early spring.
Come out swinging...the weather will be FINE!
